    Haplog R-FT381055

    My father's haplog was R-BY56690 and recently changed to R-FT381055 after the grandson of his brother tested for Big Y at FTDNA. Was this haplog just created? How old is it? How frequent is it? I can't find any information anywhere. Thanks,

    How do I find out how old this haplog is? What is the criteria for creating a new haplog and who does that?
