Hello,

I can't find anything about my haplogroup R-Z198, do you know it?

It is attached to the haplogroup R-P312 (R-S116), but I don't know which subclade it could be...

Thank you!

Hello :embarassed:

Looks as though your R-z198 group, is a branch off my R-z195 subclade. They both are grouped in the R-DF27 category of R-P312.

Is all I know

Hi, Teras.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your answers!
Apparently Z198, as subclade of Z195, appeared in north-east Spain there is 4200 years ago.

I have a technical question : we can see that Z198 has sublcades too (four in the table). The fact my test gave me only Z198 and nothing after means that the test is incomplete, or that my haplogroup did not make others mutations since Z198 ?

Who did you test with? 23andme? 23andme has a limited set number of SNPs that they test. SRY2627/M167, S68/L165, and CTS4188 are the only SNPs downstream from Z198.

By the way the FamilyTreeDNA public tree has 9 subclades downstream from Z198 and YFull has 6 subclades

Hello,
I made the test with My Living DNA, is it complete or limited ?
Thanks
