Y-DNA haplogroup
R1a
Good morning everyone.
I'm a newcomer to this very interesting Eupedia site, and I need some clarification regarding my haplogroup described as R1a.
Some time ago I went to review "my" profile on FamilyTreeDNA and I found written:
Your predicted haplogroup is R-M458
Later on the FamilyTreeDNA records page associated with my test I found this row of numbers! > Z282>PF6155>M458>PF7521>L260>YP1337 ? (YP1337 not tested).
I guess these numbers are related to a certain ancient people, and I would like to understand more about them. Now I kindly ask if someone can give me an explanation that I as a layman can't unravel.
P.S. My ancestors and I have lived for more than 600 years in Veneto (Italy).

Thank you in advance
Walker.

Good evening traveller, thank you for the interesting information.

Good evening torzio, I still live in Veneto in Treviso. My ancestors came from Feltre in the 15th century, then moved to the province of Treviso.

Hi Torzio, in my opinion, we R1a Z282>PF6155>M458>PF7521>L260>YP1337 (YP1337 not tested) who are now Venetians, descend from our ancestors who lived in the territory that today is between Poland and the Czech Republic. .. and were part of the Corded Ware culture. What do you think about it!
I apologize for my English, help me with Google Translate.

Hello everyone!
I'm new here and I would like to ask for some help with my results of Y-DNA tests from YSEQ.
I got this results and I don't know what it means:
First results
STR Haplotype:
CDY 34-35-37
DYS19 16
DYS385 11-14
DYS388 12
DYS389I 13
DYS389II 30
DYS390 25
DYS391 10
DYS392 11
DYS393 13
DYS426 12
DYS437 14
DYS438 11
DYS439 11
DYS442 14
DYS447 23
DYS448 20
DYS449 34
DYS454 11
DYS455 11
DYS456 16
DYS458 17
DYS459 9-9-9
DYS460 11
DYS464 12-12-15-15-15-16
DYS570 19
DYS576 18
DYS607 16
DYS724 34-35-37
Y-GATA-H4 12
They reccommend me he YSEQ R1a-M458 Panel, so I did it and...
There is final result:
Most specific position on the YFull YTree is R-L1029
You are negative for all downstream SNPs
What does that actually mean?
Thank you in advance
Tomek
