If I am English with Irish mixture (about 25%) from my dad's side.

How much of my Y DNA will be affected?

Is there a way to workout what my R1b, I1 etc will be as a result?
 
Your Y DNA comes strictry from the paternal line - your father’s father’s father etc. If the 25% Irish is a paternal grandfather, that’s where all of the Y comes from.

The only way to find out where you place is to take a test. There are tests of varying cost and accuracy. An alternative is to have a paternal relative take one :)

Is there a way to find out what haplogroup your surname is without doing tests?
