Looking at this map, I came to the conclussion that Rh negativity must have come from Great Britain/Ireland.

The biggest peaks of the trait today are in 2 mountainous regions, The Scottish Highlands and the Basque Country.

If you look at the map, the last places in the Western/Atlantic region where the neolithic lifestyle (and ancestry) came were the British Isles (and a small fringe in N. Spain).

Rh negativity then, reaches its highest in the last strongholds of the native European mesolithic peoples (or WHGs).

In fact, that same epoch when agriculture came to Britain/Basque Country is called the Middle Neolithic, when WHG ancestry made a comeback in the form of a male reconquest (haplogroup I2a2).

Rh negativity is said to be protective against the plague, a disease of easy transmission in 'big' towns of the Neolithic.
They must have increased in numbers thanks to the plague affecting others.
