My results with Genoplot

More or less the same percentages of the study by Marcus et. al from 2020 except that Whg and Ganj Dareh are a bit lower

With more recent population sources, always with Genoplot nMonte

I chose Guanches for the pre-Arabic North African ancestry and Afrikaners for the Northern ancestry because they are the closest to the Poprad Vandal according to Genoplot. We have literary evidences that Vandals from Africa settled with their families in Sardinia (About 10.000-20.000 according to Bard, over a population of no more than 200.000 persons)

As in the studies of Marcus and Fernandes 2020 I found a 20-40% replacement after the Bronze Age

It is not the same model, not the same samples and not the same number of samples from not the same place (for a part), so there is no point in sharing this since the 2018/2019 study contains more samples from different areas including Ogliastra.

I don't see the point in sharing this, plus the WHG rate is too low, your model is quite mediocre but I imagine it's a mediocre site

I prefer the model of genetic studies, not amateur.

No genetic study has highlighted “vandal contributions” among certain Sardinians in certain regions, so we should not advance anything before a genetic study comes out, because it is not serious.

Actually model is in line with Marcus and Fernandes 2020 and also Chiang 2018, the same Yamnya percentages...check the papers

explain me how is possible that the steppe dna increased from almost 0% in the Bronze Age to 11% in places like the South West (Chiang, Marcus) without a northern European source. Using the actual Vandal sample from Poprad instead of Afrikaners, the results are the same

No one tested if there is Vandal ancestry in Sardinia, for the moment..
