I created the following with research done in ChatGPT to find the percentages and create the chart.

Estimated percentages of Archaic Hominid DNA in modern human populations:


Europeans: Approximately 1-2% Neanderthal DNA

East Asians: Approximately 1-2% Neanderthal DNA

Oceania: Up to 5% Denisovan DNA

South Asians: The exact percentage is not well-defined, but it's likely to be less than East Asians and Oceanians and consists of a mix of Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA. It might range below 1%.

Americas: Approximately 1-2% Neanderthal DNA

Sub-Saharan Africa: Approximately 2 to 19% from an unknown archaic hominin, sometimes referred to as a "Ghost Species"
