THis guy in tiktok takes pictures of random strangers in the streets of the provinces of Iloilo and Davao in Western region of Visayas and Southern region of Mindanao respectively

















 
I travelled for 2 weeks around the Philippines (well only on Luzon Island) but the people I saw every day were darker skinned than that.

In the Philippines, it is stereotyped that luzon people(ilocano) are darker on average compared to other filipino ethnicities. So that would make sense, my mother is rather pale skined she is ftom visayas, her friend is from luzon(ilocano) and much darker then my mom
 
Philippines are a melting-pot nation since long enough ago.
The first pop's were of diverse Austronesian origins. Te pic's I see here show a dominating East-Asian input, rather Chinese IMO.

maybe you are confusing austronesian as chinese admixture
