Russia...i think
I feel the electin is too far away, and since i wont be able to participate anyway, i think we should make a mini election right here, right now. :D

Special write in....MYSELF :D and of course I will name the first female VP to assist me KIREI NA ME :cute:

What the heck...I've got about the same chance as Kerry! :D

to me,none of those guys are worth voting for
I won't vote even if I am a US resident
whoever becomes the President,he is going to send troops to other countries anyways.

Yeah CC1! I'm all for it! Let's show 'em how it's really done! :p

That's out of consideration for Canadians. If we can't bomb them in some other country, we'll have to go to Canada to do it. And what sort of Good Neighbor policy would that be? Hmm?

The problem is that they are all terrible candidates.

Bush - Idiot who wants to get rich (Also a Republican and a conservative )

Kerry - As exciting as watching paint dry (It was also his job to gun down villagers in the Vietnam War)

Nader - Consumer's advocate  (but I don't know if he has what it takes to be president)

Bush will of course use every trick up his sleave to gain another term in offoce of course. They chose to release the information of the Al-Qaeda official being captured on the day of Kerry's speech to steal viewers. The Bush administration has already struck a deal with Saudi-Arabia to pump more oil to reduce oil prices to make the Bush administration look good before the elections. And call me crazy, but I think that they have already captured Osama bin laden or they will very soon, but they will release this information right before the elections to make Bush look like a hero to win more votes.

Even though I am a U.S. citizen, I'm underage so I can't vote, but if I could, I would definitly vote for Alfred E. Neuman.

actually about osama bin laden, and this is no joke, while I was in russia for a couple of days 6 months ago, I hear don the radio, at least a few times that the russian police had actually caught bin laden, handed him over to the US and they said that the government would slow this becoming public knowledge, in order to release the info at the right time to make Bush look better.

I wasn't sure that i heard right at first, but I checked many times, and so if i hear that "bin laden was just captured" on the news in october-november, I will cry out loud. :(

For every election there are always people who say there are no good candidates, so they won't vote. (not trying to insult anyone here, but....) I think that's just an irresponsible and immature attitude. People who don't vote have no right to complain about anything they get because they didn't care enough to be a part of the process. Those are the choices you have, so choose. That's life. You don't always get exactly what you want, but you have to make the best of things given what you have. I'm sure that, even if someone is not wild about either of the candidates, that they still have some preference.

Stand up and be counted! Don't just lay down and take what they give you. It's your right and your responsibility no matter what country you live in.

Ok, I'll get off the soap box now.

this game rules!!!

wow, that took ages, but fun all the way  :D :D :D
not only do you get to kill bush, but also see what he's actually done wrong (not really covered in great detail in England) :(

Wow, we are really screwed. Bush, of course, is an idiot. Kerry likes to take away civil liberties. Nader is a good guy, he seems to care about the people, but I think he is too focused on certain issues to be president. I am voting for Nader anway, just to say that we need more choices.

I'm not an American, but if I was I would vote for Kerry. He might not be perfect, but he is a hell of a lot better than Bush. I think Nader is a total dick for running in this election, there is so much at stake and if the world has to put up with another 4 years of Bush thanks to him (lets face it, in addition to the Florida voter fraud one of the Biggest reasons Gore lost was Nader) I think he shoud be shot.

Find it heartwarming to see that nobody has chosen Bush.

I was thinking the same thing.

kerry, the lesser of two evils... were i american my vote would be for Mrs Clinton.. doesn't matter if she's running or not, i'd still vote for her..

Trouble is, people who travel or are interested in other cultures (like us), are more likely to be liberal and less likely to vote for Bush. So what I'm saying is, we're (the jref community) not an accurate sample of the American voting population.

(Unless you live in America) you will probably never meet or talk to most of the people who vote for Bush because they don't travel, or if they do they stay at the Sheraton, and they aren't interested in other countries. That's why they don't really care about Bush messing up foreign relations.

YOU MUST VOTE!! DON'T THROW YOUR VOTE AWAY ON NADER!! THIS ELECTIN IS TOO IMPORTANT!!!

Well, Bush has strong support among the rural poor in many areas as well, they don't all stay at the Sheraton or influence the oil market. Besides anyone in a noncontested state who votes in the minority is basically throwing their vote away to begin with. All you really need is a representative survey which is why elections are called based on projected exit samples. I don't even think all votes will meticulously be tallied until January.... :souka:

But poor people from rural areas are usually not big on international travel (which was my point, not that they're rich).

...and...

True, but I don't know if I'd call that "throwing away" I'd be more inclined to call that "fighting a hopless battle" but at least they're standing up and being counted.

I guess if you live in a state that you know for sure is going to go for Bush, sure, go ahead and place a protest vote on Nader. But if you're in a state where it's close and you like Nader, you know he's not going to win, and you probably would rather have Kerry in office than Bush.

I will be voting for Kerry, by the way, but knowing full well liberalism can go just as awry as conservatism. And without having that instinctive trust of him that was so strong with Clinton. :haihai:

clinton was kewl..
i was totally with the french going "he had an affair, what's the big deal? everyone has affairs! it goes with the job..." [/french accent]

Yeah, it proved he was human, unlike many other leaders who are beings of evil that live off of money.

Neither Kerry or Nader will make a perfect president, but at least they aren't George W. Bush (Nobody can screw up as much as this guy did).
