It all started with Howard Stern. Now commentators know that by saying nonsense and offending people they can make a fortune. Now every backwards nutcase has his/her own show because it's profitable. There is no political relevance to what they said, and don't be fooled into thinking there is. They'd tell you Hitler was a hell of a guy if they thought it could increase their ratings.
