When 3/4 of your ancestry comes from insular areas (England, Ireland, Sicily) and you live in the Ocean State, it is sometimes hard to fathom the problems a landlocked country has and why it was so important that Poland be able to have an outlet to the sea. The Czechs, though, not so lucky, but they do lease a few small plots of land in Hamburg, so there's that.
