Is there a forum for R1a mtDNA members?
 
No, not here anyway, but there is a thread on the mtDNA R haplogroup in the mtDNA sub-forum for N1a&I above, with a link to an older thread. A couple of people identified as R1a there. It seems you are in a rare and interesting haplogroup.
