Rolling tongue and Duchenne

Hi, Hoping someone can help with this. Mum and Dad can roll tongue. Son has diagnosis as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and cannot roll tongue. Please explain. Cheers, Steve.
 
its nice a new kind of exercise.
 
I can't roll my tongue, but don't have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, or any kind of muscular dystrophy for that matter. If you think you found something, you're going to need more data than three people.
