Both sets of samples belong to the nobles who were transferred by the Zhou people after the defeat of the Shang Dynasty. It is traditionally believed that the Shang kings came from the Xiawangang culture (at least the late Shang kings). It is speculated that they belong to C2B-F10036.

This is inferred based on the surname TMRCA. According to burial customs, they were Shang people and were strictly imprisoned.
This is the first sample of F10036.There are no bronzes or inscriptions. Q1a1 may be the jailer. was tested out,At the same time, Q1a1 also claimed that they were the King of Shang.
The other one belongs to the boyi family and is the controller of Dongyi. They were found in another place, Hebei, with their own settlement.According to this set of samples, they are Inbred and have bone diseases. They call their father Xin(辛),There was a sacrifice, all belong to O2-F325,Dongyi's O2-jST002611 percentage seemd very high, almost no other other variation,In ancient samples Dawenkou or other tested in Huai river,Whether it is F325 or others, all fall down to JST002611,Qin dynasty founders are said to come from Huaiyi that are cousins with Xu.

The Shang Dynasty was actually a dual empire similar to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The xiawanggang culture in the north and the Dongyi culture in the southeast eventually broke out into civil war and were invaded by the Zhou people and finally destroyed.
The upstream of xiawanggang is the lower Xiajiadian, which was the first to master bronze technology, while Dongyi is a new people from south. Different from the previous houli C2b-f845 and N1b2 bianbian, Dongyi was created after devouring them.

bianbian cannot be strictly Dongyi people, they contributed maternal lineage to Dongyi people

I have no idea,The tomb of Shang king,The excavation was very early. Around 1928, I heard that the samples had been contaminated. Q1a1 claimed that the samples from the Pengbo Kingdom were the King of Shang.

There is thrid possible O1b-f1756,it does have a ancient DNA,During the Shang Dynasty, the population grew rapidly, and it was the largest branch of the Shang Dynasty. At the same time, the surname was also a branch of the Shang,Theoretically, C2b-F10036 began to grow after the demise of the Shang Dynasty. It may be the NPE line. The capital of the Shang Dynasty was captured many times by Dongyi in the later period, and the capital was moved 10 times.
