mtDNA haplogroup

Númenóreans, black Númenóreans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Goblins, Haradrims, Dunlendings...

My take:

Y-dna
Numenoreans and Westron mannish peoples being mostly R1b.
Rohirrim mostly R1a (Scytho-Cimmerian-like)
Gondorians a mix of R1b (mainly ZZ11) and J2b-L283
Eriador men mainly R1b-L21
Mirkwood/Woodmen mainly R1b-U106
Dunlendings mostly a mix of these latter two.

Hobbits I2
Elves G2a and I1 mix (Globular Amphora-like)
Dwarves some kind of J/G/H/E/T mix.
Haradrim mostly E, J, L, T, ... R2?
Easterlings mostly Q... and O?

Orcs and Goblins... somewhat synonomous from what I gather. Cave "goblins" seem basically like cave-adapted orcs.
It seems that Tolkien in letters has not confirmed or denied any speculations as to their genesis. The most colloquially accepted theory is being descended from elves who were captured, tortured and corrupted by Morgoth. Anyone with more expertise can correct me.

Hobbits - R1b-L21 (Celtic) / G2a (EEF related)
Gondor - R1b-U106 / J2a / I1 (seems to be some sort of Germanic/Byzantine mix)
Numenor - R1b-Z2103 / R1a-Z93 (PIE)
Rohan - R1a-Z93 / some Q1a/c (Steppe-related)
Dwarves - J2a / J1 / G2a (Caucaso-Anatolian metal foragers?)
Easterlings - E-M34 / E-M84 / J2a / J1 (seems broader MENA)
Elves - I2 (something WHG?) / I1 (Norse related)
Orcs - Q / C / N (reminds me of Huns/Avars without horses lol)

Tolkien himself was R1a (Z92, Baltic, not my Central German YP445); given that the ancestors of the Numenoreans were heavily reduced during the latter First Age and therefore expanded from a very small population, I would make them the heavily-bottlenecked I1 and R1a-M458 clades. Given hobbits' farming proclivities, I would make them G2a.

Gondor is Byzantine Empire, Anor is Western Rome, according to his own writings.

"In the south Gondor rises to a peak of power, almost reflecting Númenor, and then fades slowly to decayed Middle Age, a kind of proud, venerable, but increasingly impotent Byzantium."
"Now we come to the half-ruinous Byzantine City of Minas Tirith"

J.R.R. Tolkien, Letter to Milton Waldman, 1951.

I think that Easterling are R1a-Z93 and Q1a. They are horseback warriors like Scythians, Huns, Avars. Rohan have R1a-Z92 mostly because they are horseback warriors but western origin like Slavs and Balts. I think that E1b1b are carried by Haradrim because they came from south and have brown skin like Berbers and Arabs.
