    Life After Death

Yes I do realise it. But what I do realise too, is that there are strange phenomenas that do happen; I personally never saw any ghost but I know someone who had have premonitory dreams, that's another topic, I know, but what I mean is that there must be explications to these paranormal...

    Life After Death

Roughly, i think that places or objects can be "charged" by strong emotions experienced by peoples, and that those "charges" keep resounding like an echo that mediums perceive when they talk about their "visions".

Debate Are religious people somehow weaker than atheistic people?

Well, they're neither from the Bible belt nor suicide bombers.

Let's make fun of France TV

No, neither British nor Americans know how to pronounce it, I don't know what makes you say that but the vast majority only speak English and when they know a bit of French it's very limited and their pronounciation is very bad. They can't pronounce R ou U correctly, AU, EAU, EU nearly always...

What would you buy for 400$ ? A detailed DNA test or a smatphone ?

If I had people in my close familly suffering from genetic deseases like the Huntington's chorea for example it would probably make me think about it, but i'm not even sure that I would not prefer live with the doubt than risking to discover that I'm condemned to develop it. For the rest...

Debate Are religious people somehow weaker than atheistic people?

I think on the contrary that there are more depressed and pessimistic peoples among the atheists than among the believers. Not that much suicide bombers in the Bible belt either.

    Life After Death

I just answered the poll and gave my opinion, i didn't read the hundred posts of that thread. I don't believe in the concept of soul or immaterial being that keeps on living after the death. I just think that some event can imprint the place in which they took place and be perceived like an echo...

Let's make fun of France TV

Come on, i never saw any english speaking journalist able to pronounce French properly, they even still call the French capital "Pay-wiss" instead of "Pa-ree" while French names and cities should be much more familiar to them than Chinese ones are to any westerner. Should they all be fired ...

    The British attitude towards Europe?

I find British attitude toward the EU a bit irritating sometimes because they don't seem to know what they want themselves. So for me the good question would rather be "Do the british people want their country in or out the EU ?". It's up to you to decide if you want to be part of the family.

What would you buy for 400$ ? A detailed DNA test or a smatphone ?

The only reasons i see to buy a genetic test are suffering from a genetic desease, having been adopted, having a strong doubt about your paternity or a strong interest in genealogy. Since I don't fall in any of these categories, i'll take the smartphone.

Yes, I like rugby! I like it as much as I don't care about football, but i'm not a huge fan either.

What's the most difficult language you've taken to learn?

French. I'd like to be able to naturally express myself as well as some writers and philosophers do.

    Are you vegetarian ?

Vegetarian diet is nothing else than a consequence of anthropomorphism applied to food.

Debate Are religious people somehow weaker than atheistic people?

Religious peoples are stronger than atheistic peoples. Faith is one of the biggest strengh, making religious peoples able to deal with the difficulties of life with much less doubts and much more confidence because "god's walking by their side". Atheists have hope, religious have faith.

    Life After Death

I'm an atheist and i believe that there's nothing after life. However I believe in ghosts and mediums, but the way i see it is something like an echo of an event that happened and is still resounding in the "haunted" place, and which mediums are able to perceive. I cannot explain it but i...

Germanic vs Latino - Economic strength?

First I'd like to say that the main division is not between "Latin" and "Germanic" countries, but rather between UK and mainland Europe. Now my thought about the four countries you named is that France wins the comparison. Don't accuse me too quickly to be chauvinistic and look at the charts...

    The Celts of Iberia

What does Celtic really mean? Is it something genetic? M269, the Atlantic Modal Haplogroup? That would make the Basques the most Celtic people on Earth which makes no sense at all. Is it only one marker? Way to restrictive and peoples are defined by more than one Y-DNA subclade. Is it just a...

    The Celts of Iberia

That's not what i was trying to say. And in France we have the Massif Central and the Alps from where some of the most powerful tribes originated, and they were no different than the rest. What superwarriors? Where? Why do you always want me to see them like some kind of superwarriors? The...

In fact the NW "highlanders" (Callaicos, Asturians and Cantabrians) are grouped with the Lusitanians in the same chapter in his description.
