I have a "lazy eye" as well. Well, what the medical definition is anyways. I guess it's because one eye is stronger than the other. It wasn't always like this, but it's become worse with time. One eye is 20/20, the other is like 20/40, maybe a bit worse.
I should where a contact, but it was difficult for me to get used to. Besides that, I didn't go into the eye doctor because of my "lazy eye", I went because I have a lot of excess "floaters" in my eyes, and they are getting worse and worse. The optometrist didn't tell me anything about that. :eek:kashii:

Did you play soccer and do alot of headers?

The reason I ask, is that a friend of my son had the same problem, to make a long story short, he went to a specialist and was told that it is a problem more common among good soccer players, his own son had the problem. The reasoning is that doing headers causes the head to compress and puts pressure on the eyeball resulting in tissue tearing from the eye and 'floating' in the fluid. The way the docs son was treated was to take the fluid out of the eye. The bad was, the doctor said they didn't at that time know what the fluid was for and it could cause more problems later on.

This is one of the reasons that they were pushing for some type of head protection when playing soccer.

I have slight astigmatism and I'm correcting it with the help of my eye glasses.
