It's a beautiful song, Zanatis; I do indeed feel it.
Yet, I was an adult, and in the U.S. before I knew anything about that kind of music.
This is the wrong thread for folk music, but this is "our" regional music...

All songs have the ability to transmit emotions of all kinds, such as euphoria, adrenaline, aggression, adventure, melancholy, etc., but they all last very shortly and disappear usually once you’re done listening. But it’s such songs like the one you posted that affect us the most (IMO) and transmit happiness, peace, and the cozy feeling of being home and enjoying time with the beloved ones.

One of my favorite renditions is from this old priest from Genova who sings it at the end of Mass and also pulls out the red scarf he was wearing underneath his cassock.
