The Celts of Iberia

Come on guy, if you believe that Portugal was less Celtic than some other parts of Iberia you must be operating in another dimension. Now, do you also have an issue with Portugal? Time to show some maturity.

Would an average Portuguese guy would taken it as an insult to his Nation if I told him that Portugal wasn't Celt ?

J haplogroup is my mother because I got to 37 only, but is probably J2, and I have several match with people from Ireland, England and France and the laboratory has been awarded as Celtic and no French or European will tell my grandmother is not Celtic, for the glory of my mother.

PD: Please, is humorous, nobody panic, but it's true and no Frenchman will tell me what I am.

It is completely false that Iberia was ruled by muslims in 800 years. Only Granada lasted 781 years, there rest is much, much less than that. But anyways, the moors were always a minority, anywhere in the country, and their genetic legacy is minimal.

Yeah, and the British ruled India for how long? Look at the Indian population, does it look like they left any significant DNA there? But when it comes to Iberia and the Moors...

I love these people who think that just because there were Moors in Iberia for lengthy periods that makes Spaniards and Portuguese half-Moors. Pathetic.:useless:

The region that is today known as Portugal has a very significant Celtic heritage. Plain and simple, OK?

It is an insult to deny the HERITAGE of any population group.

Frenchmen don't rely on money and laboratories to be sure of which letter of the Alphabet they belong to

I think the French and other Europeans are confused with theories that the Spanish pose on the Celts, so quiet, we are happy to be who we are, we are not asking to be like no other, lives and history of each country also has a When developing a particular idiosyncrasy, there is the example of South American countries and its forums members, to view, tiny clothes.

It could have been the same with the Celts in Iberia:
*Big and long lasting cultural/ architectural influence
*small genetic legacy

Not when possibly as much as 75% of the total population of Iberia was Celtic at one time. The Celts were not a minority at all in Spain and Portugal...

It is funny because except in Bitanny, French people don't really care about their 2000 years past.
I don't think that it would be as insulting for a Portuguese if i'd deny his Muslim Heritage, don't you think ?

See the study I posted earlier on the thread. Only the celtiberians represented already 40% of the Iberian population.

France's economic supremacy will allow anyone to absolutely no one calls into question in France and less about a subject of itself, unfortunately, Portugal and Spain, including data may be denied and ignored any information, which makes money.

But things will be demonstrated over time and who knows, maybe someday Europeans have to call to Spain and Portugal: Dad, Mom.

I think you have missed the point.

That's why they could not impose Celt language in Portugal

What are you talking about? Several of us have made it abundantly clear that Celtic was spoken in much of of what is now Portugal. Do the research already, and stop repeating non-truths. Absurd...

Muslim Heritage "?

Nobody in Spain or Portugal feels anything like that, or no tradition of any kind, is something that creates even rejection, except for some children of socialist new rich who fantasize, they become Muslims and dream of a thousand and one nights while decorating their Arab-style house.

My comment was just about French people not spending money on DNA test

Then why would they be proud of their Celtic heritage ?
When tourist visit Southern Spain, it is not for the "Celtic" monument

The Alhambra and the rest, very nice, but nothing is forever, one day an earthquake will destroy it all, who knows. It's there, very nice, the tourists visit, is a great architectural heritage and it is, is nothing there, there is a Roman aqueduct Segovia, very nice and large.

You can't deny a Huge Muslim cultural heritage in Spain

Know that we do our legacies, we adopt, we transform it and it is ours because it is a new creation, genuine, adapted, do not feel it from others.

I think the same thing happens all over the world including South America there are many Spanish churches and we do not feel that these South American people are like us and the difference is that they keep our great Spanish culture and Spanish culture do not maintain any Muslim or Arab, ended, finite, another thing butterfly.
