Utopia or Dystopia: Thoughts about the Future

Maybe some of your have seen the masterpiece called "Blade Runner" who showed a very dystopian future for humanity. How do you guys envisage the future?

How about a third option, Paradise. ;) Where everybody is healthy, young, beautiful, smart, good and lives as long as one wants.

Hilarious as it is for a movie, I think it got few things right for the first decades of the 21 century.


Actual fiction has only one major recurrent theme: The Walking Dead.
(a zombie march was even acted today in Hamburg for the G20 meeting).
I interpret it as a billion hungry people taking a walk (war, natural disaster, who knows).


And after, hopefully Star Trek.
 
Check "Alien Covenant", hehe. Wouldn't utopia capture paradise?

Unfortunately I can't reciprocate with a movie about perfect world. Who would want to watch a boring movie like this? Unfortunately, people are more excited about destruction, killing, drama in love and all the dystopia.

Our Future is determined by many factors

factor 1 Globalization, and destruction of state/nation power or a possible planet goverment/dictatorship
factor 2 Global warming and enviroment
factor 3 money, money storage, and moral of money
factor 4 science in service of money not humanity

we will have 1 chance more,
the next era,
after that is either failure and death, either life and paradise
but we must choose correct,
we reach the limit.

I did not say about Utopia or Dystopia

So I am not prophet,
a prophet gives signs and makes parallel visions

I just say that we must choose well.

it is us who make the future,
so decide your future hell or paradise.

we all have the choice of free will
and we all are citizens,
and we all have the same rights on life the day we are born
only we have to do is ask them from our leaders,
not from foreign or Aliens or Gods, but our own leaders which we vote,

(yet sometimes they are either traitors, either lunatics)(and don't call me a communist, I am not)

I just take a solace in a fact that no Yetos prophesies came true yet.

I never made a prophecy
since you are a catholic read the books of Daniel and rest, and Apocalypse of John to find what is prophecy.

maybe next time i should speak about monsters in sky with 12 legs and hairs like snakes,
and cure the walking dead, or burn woods with out fire as a sign
and surely you will believe me :grin:

I insist that future is our hands, and our will.

Excuse me, but you predicted the Occupy Wall Street movement will take over the world and bring justice. Also, you in the past predicted WW3, Greece-Turkey war, and collapse of EU and capitalism. Yes?
