Very interesting numbers. Even though not all of those countries are part of the EU there are still huge numbers of people moving to other countries.
The number of Italian people moving through the EU seems quite impressive.

yes, there are calculated those bordering the countries of origin plus those from more distant european areas (plus in some cases more historical migrations, like post medieval migrations etc..)

I wonder where the numbers of Germany are from and who collected this data. Probably in reality the numbers of non-German ethnicities are even much higher!

The problem is that governmental suveys on ethnicity are not permitted, and if assumptions are made about ethnicity, they are based on citizenship only. For example, an ethnic Italian who is a descendant of the first immigration wave to Germany from the 1950s, and who carries a German passport, is counted as a German.

For me personally it gets more obvious when I look at this sheet, which shows the distribution of non-German ethnic groups within the districts of Berlin:

It is a well known fact and easily to be seen that the largest Italian community is situated in the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. However, they've been living there for decades and all carry German passports, so they are not counted as Italians.
On the other hand, the sheet mentions Pankow as a main district for Italians. But Pankow is a district with a very low number of foreigners and non-Germans, except for the bohème and student area of Prenzlauer Berg. And that is the place where the few Americans and Western Europeans in the East of Berlin are living, but as temporary artists and students only.

catholic bosnians were counted as croats, as well as otodox bosnians as serbs.

These stats appear to be the number of speakers of a language in each country or perhaps partial ancestry, but in no way nationality. It's impossible that there is 6 million French people in Belgium, a country of 10 million inhabitants where only about 4 million are native French speakers.

The 1 million Germans in France are probably the Alsatians who can still speak German.

6 million French people in the UK ? Does that include all the people who have a French surname of Norman origin ? That's nonsense.

In any case I wouldn't trust any of these figures.
