Could the mtDNA haplougroups found in North Africa and parts of South Africa be a surviving remnant of the Barbary Slave Trade?

There is the ancient DNa section here at Eupedia, but it doesn't include non-european remains, like the north-african ones. In Morocco there is 12,000 ybp Mesolithic mtDNA from 21 samples :

H/V/U=12 57%, H=4 19%, H/V=3 14%, V=2 9.5%
