I'm going to say it one more time. Myths are not history. We're now in the age of GENETICS.

No one knows the genetics of Troy. WE DON't HAVE A SAMPLE. We don't know what happened to any particular group of men sent to Sardinia. Were they all killed off by the inhabitants of the Barbagia? We don't know.

We do know there was Carthaginian settlement on the island. We also know the extent of the footprint. We even have the samples. Who is denying it?

Exhaustive and very detailed yDna analysis could prove helpful in getting more information. What we do know is there's quite a bit of U-152 in Sardinia, bringing steppe, even if subsequently diluted. Go back and read the paper and the Francalacci paper on the yDna while you're at it.

Look at your analogy: SouthAfrican Coloured vs Steppe.

You've made my point for me; don't you see that? Yes, if you removed all the alleles for African and South, Southeast Asian,Oceanic, maybe the little that was left would look "white".

The point is that steppe people are admixed, just like Cape Coloureds. NEITHER of them could be confused for just CHG or just
"WHITE" respectively.

If you find an ancient sample with CHG in it, but no EHG, THERE IS NO STEPPE. Why do you think some bloggers are madly trying to find some EHG at certain points in ancient Anatolia? There's tons of CHG there. What they need is EHG to prove that there was movement from the steppe.

If you have a sample with a certain proportion of "white", San, Yoruba like, Malaysian like, South Indian like genes, it's a Cape Coloured sample. You need ALL of them to correctly identify it as Cape Coloured. There is a pattern which the algorithm is programmed to find. I don't understand your difficulty with this.

Look up the technical papers on how this works if you still don't understand, or continue to make nonsensical statements, but don't expect me to respond any further. There's no point.

Plus, all sorts of analyses can be done, using all sorts of statistical tools, and different samples.

Doubtful when such graphs include 100% of the autosome, simply they attribute to given pop.
