Got into a big fight with Sile when I posted that (maybe my favorite tango clip).

He told me it wasn't "real" tango. Well, it's not the tango my parents danced and that my dad taught me, but it's wonderful all the same.
Thanks for the additional clips. I like the electronic tango music, but they're a little "out there" for me in terms of dance style.

I'd pull every hair out of my daughter's head if I ever saw her go out to a dance club dressed like that.
I don't know what a real expert like you would think, but I love the following. I don't think there's a single style of tango I don't like. In my next life I'm going to be a great tango dancer.

Why would I be an expert? Not at all. Just a fan, as you.
The use of the term "cleaning", just kidding, was inserted in a certain context.
I'm not really a dancer though, and not just of tango. This limitation probably came from paternal side, which ironically is much more attached to music. Maternal side, on the other hand, generally makes better dancers, but not "musicians".

Why am I saying this? Well, obviously I like a lot to watch dances, but I tend to like the musics themselves even more. And I won't lie. Generally I prefer the traditional, which doesn't mean I don't like the others, or the "moderns". I do, and that's why I posted them. I didn't know you had already done it, btw.

So, no problem in comparisons, however, we don't need to do it all the time. If we're not doing some kind of "study" or specific analysis, if we're just having fun or a good moment, in fact there is no need to do it. Plus, the names, the genders, are mainly references, and they don't matter that much as just names. In short, what I mean is that we just like the music or don't like it, no matter how it's classified. Time ago I've been in a pizzaria in occasion of a birthday, and there was a Neapolitan there. He just refused to try the Brazilian pizza, because it's different. While I understood and respected the preference itself, I almost said: dude, never mind how you call it; create a name if you prefer, but put a damn piece into your mouth, taste it and see if you like, as a pie or whatever. ah ah ah If still he hadn't like it, ok. No problem. Well, I don't blame him. We're all inclined to do it, even if inadvertently.
Same with coffee. It's like you don't drink the boiled only because you like more the Espresso. je je Point is... Imagine if we listened, ate, visited etc. just what we like the most... No. No sense.
I just decided next time I'll try the American boiled coffee as a kind of tea. Maybe I'll like it so. ah ah ah
That said, the list you posted is really a mix.

And it's good, yes. Thanks for sharing. I didn't know most of them.
And Piazzolla (nuevo tango) is a "classic", so to speak! No comments!
Cheers
