Sorry, I meant putting the add distance column at .25x. You usually get less overfitting and more clarity.

I received a reply to my request.

There is a whole lot of legal jargon, and forms to sign, so yeah, never mind...

I also need an "Institutional Representative", other than myself to sign-off. Which means it is a no-go.

IRB (Institutional Review Board) board issue. All University sponsored Research and any research using Human samples has to have an IRB review and sign off. This all goes back to the famous Stanley Milgram experiment conducted in the 1960's at Yale on obedience to directives orders from superiors, etc. I guess some papers got participants to sign a release that there samples will be available for other researchers. Of course Ancient samples maybe fall under different IRB rules.

I am making this post just to alert you that I tried to run the calculator 'Dodecad K12b West Eurasia' of dnagenics.com today for two occasions, with the upload of files in both VCF (.txt) and csv (.xlsx) format and the error below was displayed and the admixture has not displayed.

Jovialis: Thanks again. My top 25 using coordinates from your post #878. I stopped there since for me the samples in your post #876 are going to be the ones that plot closer than Tuscan samples, closest being 9.987 and ranging to 12.69. So Tuscan samples for all calculators I run usually start showing up in the same spots these samples taken from the website you linked in post #878. Hopefully, the samples for the populations from post #876 will become available.

I compared this to the PCA. The samples to which I'm closest in the North Italian cluster are closest to Liguria, which I think is western Liguria and then Emilia, and the samples to which I'm closest in the Tuscan cluster are TSI 130, which is just north of Florence, so it all makes sense as per my known geneaology.

I'm answering so many more questions now that we have all these new calculators using Dienekes K12b.
 
Dodecad is outdated.
