    Not really. J1 is Western Asian in origin. The map looks way more E1b situated.

    Do all Europeans have Semetic admixture?

    Whenever any European runs the Dodecad or Eurogenes calculator they will end up getting a % of Southwest Asian, or Red Sea. At least, most of the Europeans that I see. SW Asian and Red Sea percentages are Semitic correct?

    European with Haplogroup J1

    I have a YDNA of J1 and am of Italian ancestry on my fathers side. How do I find out if it's Neolithic or Semetic in nature? Furthermore, what's the difference between Neolithic farmers and Semetic culture/speakers if any? I've asked Doug McDonald for help and am awaiting a reply.
