It depends on what you prefer. YDNA tells us in western Europe mainland the main group is R1b, and a minority of I (Scandinavian)
But there are even smaller minorities of course.

It turns out to be that a lot of tribal names are just a guess from yesterday.

If you look at the Franks, they went from central Germany through the Netherlands and Belgium to France.
The are considered a Germanic tribe. Traditionally the South of The Netherlands supposed to be Franks.
But YDNA shows most of the population is still from Celtic origin.
This means the Franks just passed. They didn't influence the region...
