I thought you might like to know that I have updated the phylogenetic tree of R1bU106/S21.
Here is a preview, but it will look better in full screen by opening the window on the R1b page.

I'm not sure where I am on this tree. Well, I mean, I know I'm down wind of R-L44, which is what Family Tree DNA has me at. Here is what YSEQ says (does this BY13042 make me a new branch?):
Your final haplogroup is R1b-BY13042

Hopefully, I will soon have 4 generations of Y-7378
I am Z18+L257+Z15+Z378+Z375
Dang, keep running into dead ends. Unfortunately I have the M323.2, and any time I search for R-M323.2 I still end up only getting results for the Q group(Q-M323.1) since they share that one same mutation. Have they made pretty major updates to U106 or Z381 within the last few years? (Just holding out hope that mine isn't so rare that it doesn't get elaborated on – besides "Britain", that is.)
I am R-U152 R-Z43
Trying to learn more about z159. If anyone has any suggestions for research I would like to know.
I'm U 106 L44 + L163-. My grandfather was from northern Italy. The recent studies on Longobard tombs in Italy and Hungary show some relationship with this branch of U106?
Thanks for posting this, Maciamo. From what I've seen on FTDNA, S25234 also seems to be found in the Netherlands.
It looks like my SNP--S4056--belongs to the Dutch and Anglo-Saxon branch, which seems reasonable. My paternal ancestor came to Philadelphia from outside Karlsruhe, Baden, in 1751, which means my paternal line may have stayed in the Rhine River valley for some centuries. My Big Y-500 results should be available sometime in late September/early October so I'm anxious to see what my terminal SNP is, and where it's located based on these maps.
Colonial American descendant of mostly English and Northwestern European heritage, with some West African admixture
Hello. I am new here so please bear in mind my almost nil experience on this.
I reciently asked for a study of the SRRs of the Y cromosome (PrepFiler Forensic DNA extraction kit, applied Biosystems)
According to this test I belong with a probability of 98.8% to the following line:
R1B U106>381>Z301>S1688> FGC19573
I have read that S1688 line runs paralell to R-S21
I am trying to link with past ancestors from UK as I have on my name genealogy book.
Any ideas?
Many thanks and if an relatives are present, please contact me.
