A friend of mine is starting a new YouTube channel (Sons of Mars) to explain famous historical battles using video scenes he shot while playing Total War in high definition and edited with a special programme. He plans to recreate mostly battles from the Antiquity and teh Middle Ages. It looks quite promising.
His two first videos were more like tests, but he has now released one video last week on the Battle of Trebia (218 BCE) and today about the Battle of Manzikert (1071 CE). We'd like to have your opinion. Please watch in the highest resolution available.
Battle of Manzikert : first major victory of the Seljuk Turks against the Byzantines.
Battle of Trebia : first battle opposing the Carthaginians against the Romans in Italy after Hannibal crossed the Alps.
