My great grandfather, Auguste Erbland, was born in 1838 in the village of Sondersdorf, Haut-Rhin, Alsace. Many Erbland's still live in Sondersdorf and the nearby areas within Haut-Rhin.
I have created a Erbland Surname Y-DNA Project in hopes of finding Y-STR links among the various Erbland's now living in Alsace and Erbland's who are now living in North America.

Thus far we have 4 Erbland participants from North America but none from Alsace. Any ideas on how to recruit some participants from Alsace would be most welcome.
