Ancestry has rolled out this new project, honing in on what "ethnic community" your more recent ancestors (the past hundred as opposed to the past thousands of years).
Anyone else seen this? What communities do you guys belong to? Mine only gives southeastern european, and under the "surnames associated with this region" there's a bunch of german names, surprising stuff! it must be somewhat accurate because one of the 6 people i'm connected to in this ancestry community is a 5th cousin on my mother's side.
