Me: so it seems they compared ancient pops with current pops, what can be interesting but is a bit amazing when trying to assess homogeneity/heterogeneity of more ancient pops! (IMO at least).

RESULTS
European Hunter-Gatherers First, I considered hunter-gatherers from Hungary, Luxembourg, and Spain (Western), Switzerland, Sweden (SwedenandMotala), and Karelia and Samara (Eastern, Figure 1A). Overall, these 14 hunter-gatherers averaged 71.6% Northern European ancestry, 27.4% Southern European ancestry, and 0.9% Oceanian ancestry (Table 1). this heterogeneity, explained by the "reversing" method, is normally accentuated by the broad geographic choice of these HG's. I find curious the weight they seem putting into uniparental markers concerning this global autosomal apporach.
