India says bluntly that China's large buildup of nuclear weapons, was
one of two reasons they went aggresive on a nuclear arms race.

Remember China and India fought a war (over land that is worthless !!!).

India's Hindu Nationalist party accelerated the race, Pakistan was ready to match for several reasons;

Pakistan
--> India has a convential military that is much much stronger
--> India also has an economy much much stronger than Pakistan
--> Unconvential war response, gives them a shield
--> This shield, of threatening an "unconventional" war
gives the government/military of Pakistan, a clout
their failed economy does not give them
--> They can claim the first Islamic nation with nuclear weapons

N. Korea
--> Can be a might-bully with a totally failed economy
--> Sell illegal drugs, and produce counterfeit money,
but the possession of weapons
makes these issue seem " small potato's "
--> Gives them a deterence from Axis-Of-Evil
(i think this an excuse, but G. Bush did not help)

REMEMBER THAT S-KOREA AND USA, WORKED OUT AN AGREEMENT WITH
N-KOREA TO MAKETHE KOREAN PENINSULA, NUCLEAR FREE

THIS WAS A GOOD THING

IT HAS BEEN SHATTERED
_.

So what's the point of this exactly? North Korea needs a way to have some leverage in the international community, and the A-bomb appears to be the best way for countries like American and the EU to hear their demands. India is fighting Pakistan over Kashmir; old news. China is building up it?fs infrastructure to compete with the US in the global economy. Most countries (just like North Korea) have illegal drugs being sold, along with counterfeit money. America has illegal drugs being smuggled in all the time, and has nuclear weapons as well; the only difference is that America is such a powerful nation that no one dare question them on it. And the land isn?ft worthless. America fought Mexico over arid desert land; I guess that was a worthless war as well....
