confused

Update:

We did the FTDNA- Once again 0 African

The only matches:

2 Danes (my family history has us leaving the Jutland and moving to the Rhineland during the reformation
1UK (VIA Malta) Closest match

Genetic distance -1

1 Belgium (Wallonoa)
1 German
7 Saudis (it says our common ancestor was (1-350 BCE)
1 Kuwait

But is seems all our common ancestors are from the BCE-1-350 BCE

We only have matching markers at 12--- None at 25 or higher, what does that mean?

I am guessing this fits the roman hypotheses (Maltese Legionary stationed in Germany???)

hi,
you should do the big-y-700 test
to find the specific terminal snp of your e1b1a-m2>u175
it is expensive but it is worth it in the long run

p.s
about autosomal nice
so autosomally you are full north european ( as ftdna say like 23 and me)
as i suggested in previews posts your e1b1a-m2 line might arrived to germany with the roman auxiliiary
who hang out in the rhine

I am waiting for the BIG Y 700 tests to get back

It went out to 111 markers with FTDNA no matches outside 12 markers

Ill post when I get it back

right now we have FT DNA out to 111 markers

The only matches are at 12 markers- with the closest being a UK match with ancestors from Malta- the split there was estimated at 1-350 BCE

I am agree with the Roman Hypothesis - it seems like based on Genetic dist they came from the middle east to Malta, then joining the Roman Auxiliary or Legion as Maltese could be citizens and being posted to the Rhine, then hooking up with a German woman

I have ordered the BIG Y 700- I am sure I will have a lot of questions when I get it back

You did the right thing
To order the big-y-700🫡
A tip:
You need to be patience even after you will get your terminal snp
It takes time to find big-y-700 matches
But as more people out there take this test
The chances are geting higher and higher
You will have a matches

P.s
12 y-str markers matches are usually not good indication for relationship and if it is it might be to far back in time
Looking forward for your terminal snp results😉

Got the big Y-700

More confused, it seems to indicate our ancestors were in the Jutland at around 2550 BCE

I could be wrong but, we only have 4 other folks with a common ancestor in they are Dane and German. It looks like they were in Europe for awhile

@Searcher70 I find it very disturbing that you spent Almost 4 years on a thread confused because your son haplogroup is e1b1a. Which is primarily an African haplogroup. What made it even worse is that the father has the same. So at this point just accept the fact that your son and his father and so forth are negros and white skin. Better yet they are Israelites from one of the 12 tribes of Israel.

always important to look at the terminal snp or the immediate upstream of it
to get the general picture of the branch geography distribution
while there is no Denay that e-m2 mutation likely arose at west -central africa from his upstream e-v38 which himself arose at east africa
some branches of e-m2 are present at moderate frequencies both at north africa and even arabia
and when i look at there path tree at ftdna it seem they have been there for a while

now to his specific case :

he share an snp with a Dane there TMRCA is at the 11th century
so his line likely came to Europe with roman auxiliary troops from north africa stationed at germany
