CTS9320 families from Scandinavia.

Tumulus culture

Do you know where you got this map of the Tumulus Culture? I have been looking all over for the original, but with no luck. I am very interested in its spread into northern Italy and into Anatolia.

(Sorry, I was not able to include the map link due to my being a newby.)

They promise to add SNP E-BY4526 to the Yfull tree at the next recount. Let's see how age and distance to a common ancestor change

Laszczynski

Now, on the FTDNA tree, four Swedes are located in the E-BY4526 branch:
E-BY4526 (Ovanede Torp)
E-BY4529
E-BY4523
E-BY4540
In Yfull I see only two
Does anyone know the contacts of the rest so that they put the data in Yfull?
Thank!

Laszczynski (Polish cluster E-BY4526)

In addition, it should be noted that in Russia there is E-V13 associated with Scandinavian expansion

1. Yaroslav Osmomysl
2. Viceroy, leader of the Scandinavian-Slavic squad (Krivichs, Kryvichs, Kryvičý) of a settlement in Bolshevo (tumulus (kurgan) fields 11-12 century), where there was a transit point on Klyazma

Nevermind this.

I pushed the red button - And yet it´s saying"

So once more, rafc´s comment was not helpful at all

I am reluctant to place the origin of CTS9320 more to the east, or to assume pre-Scythian origin as you say for couple of reasons!

Well now there is Ossetian (I paid for his Pack  ) E-S26015*, Z16988-, Z17107-, Z17264-, BY4524-, S19928-. Unless his origin is Greek (very unlikely and no evidence for that) he must be Thraco-Cimmerian. He might be theoretically positive to some other SNP's not covered there such as BY4526, BY20093 but he does not cluster with anyone by STR's so he is assured to be distant from any other E-CTS9320's. On the other hand who knows he might show other surprises (such as being negative to some SNP at CTS9320 level but only BigY can tell that).

There are few other Caucasian CTS9320, especially in Georgia. One is
100 % certain by STR's. One might be distantly related to a Bulgarian CTS9320*. Also there are some untested E-CTS9320 in Russia.

He is also Z37530/BY4526-, so in addition to E-Y20805/BY4524, he has nothing to do with E-Y41959, YF07169, YF15857 at YFull either. Only branch not tested is E-Y84585, he does not share their determining STR, and he is very distant to all of them. This is probably a new and Ossetian CTS9320 (for which actually he has no reading) clade. A very important find! There were no Illyro-Cimmerians but there were Thraco-Cimmerians, and if Thracian horizont is a newer Srubnaya Noa-Coslogeni R-Z93 related then CTS9320 fits nicely there. In any case one must explain this find. By tradition, he was supposed to be connected to the main Ossetic cluster of G-FGC719 which is Alanic at least since late Antiquity.
