Evolution is a just Theory - Darvin said. Theory - nothing more. One of many.

You know, "just a theory" implies not knowing what "theory" means. Evolution is just as much a "theory" as gravity is a "theory". The word you're looking for is "hypothesis", and the theory of evolution is way past that stage.

Also, where in the scientific discourse are the many rivaling hypotheses that supposedly compete against the theory of evolution, and what are they?

It is a Theory indeed. Evolution implies that we evolved from primitive to progressive. So called 'Ancient Art' is as sophisticated as 'Modern Art'. If people were put in 'primitive' meteorological conditions, doesn't make people primitive. Wearing skins and being nomadic is not equal to 'primitive'. No matter how much scientists tried to teach monkeys to 'progress' - it didn't work. Our mind has idea of self-destruction- that is contrary to 'evolution'. How come sharks didn't evolve? Neanderthals were the most adapted and had big brain-where are they? Until we see gorilla talk - it's all just a theory, one of many.

Now, lets try it again. Collect your thoughts in more coherent way and try expressing your idea again. I'm not even sure if you know what you are talking about. Also quoting the post you are addressing would help us understand you.

Now, that's interesting- you should know by now that it is called 'the law of gravity' not Theory.
If Einstein and Darwin called their ideas - Theory, I will take their word for it. Newton called his -a 'Law'.
