I need help with finding info for my coursework

I'm glad that I found this section because it's a perfect place for my question. I was recently assigned to do a coursework, and this task is a big challenge for a freshman student. That's why I would like someone to share some useful sources of information on how to find a good topic, the information for it, and how to format my paper. I'm not so experienced in finding the relevant information, that's why I need someone to assist me.
