7. Michael Kerns Stealey (1794-1822)
8. Jacob Stealey (1769-1841)
9. John Jacob Staley (1744-1793)
10. Hans Jacob Stehli (1703-1761)
11. Heinrich Stehli (1675-1742)
I can't post links, but look up #11 (Heinrich Stehli) on WikiTree, and you'll see that he is G-M201.
I've heard about Alice in Chains, but I didn't know the musics. Not my style, but... Nice curiosity. Thanks!

I agree that he must have been G-M201*, and G-L497->G-L42 more specifically. A group in the related Project in FTDNA, with several members, shows the connection between Swiss and German families. There're many variations, by the way: Staley, Stehli, Stahli, Steely, Stalee, Steeley, Stiely, among others.
*Not that surprising, judging by the
G frequencies in Switzerland:

That said, the tree above seems ok till "8. Jacob Stealey (1769-1841)", according to
Geni,
Family Search,
MyHeritage etc. From Jacob Stealey (1769) backwards the lineage seems less clear, but data from ancestry show that Jacob Stealey (1769) could have been a son of this "9. John Jacob Staley (1744-1793)". If so, he would supposedly descend from a brother of "10. Hans Jacob Stehli (1703-1761)", not from Hans Jacob himself (?).
8.
Jacob Stealey (1769, York, Pennsylvania, USA), married to Elizabeth Kerns
9.
John Jacob Stayley (1744, York, Pennsylvania), married to Catherine Elizabeth Goering
10.
Johann Jacob Stehli (1690, Baden-Wuerttemberg), married to Ana Eva Rebstock. This one must have migrated to USA with his parents, from Hamburg.
Not sure though, since the supposed father of Johann Jacob Stehli (1690) would have born just 15 earlier. Both Johann Jacob Stehli and
Hans Jacob Stehli/Staley would descend* from
Heinrich Stehli (1675, Zurich, Switzerland), the number 11 in your tree.
*Just as a member of the mentioned Project.
ED: According to
Family Search, this Johann Jacob Stehli was born about 1698 (also in Zurich), not in 1690. But John Jacob (1744) is not listed as a son.
Plus, another source in Family Search shows this John Jacob Stailey married to Catherine E. Goering as born in 1732, Gundershofen, France, son of
Hans Jacob Stahli (1709, Gundershofen). However, Jacob Stealey (1769) is not listed as a son of this John Jacob Stailey (1732). This lineage also leds to Switzerland though. These families must be all related to each other, but it doesn't seem to be clear how exactly they are.
