Which Poland do you prefer?
I chose 1228 as the beginning of multi-ethnic Poland because that is when the Teutonic Order was invited to Poland. Mass immigration of German settlers to various regions of Poland also started around that time (maybe a bit sooner, but after 1200). Also by year 1264 for sure Jews already lived in Poland in quite noticeable numbers, because in that year the Statute of Kalisz was enacted. And since 1344 Poland began annexing East Slavic lands, becoming even more multi-ethnic. Then in 1385 came the union of Poland with Lithuania.
Mono-ethnic Poland existed:
Between 960-1228 and 1945-2026 = 349 years.
Multi-ethnic Poland existed:
Between 1228-1939 = 711 years, twice as long.
