The results came in today. When I first looked, I had wondered if there was a mix up because the recent ancestry report is noticeably different than Ancestry and 23andme. When CRI reported my paternal haplogroup and maternal then I realized it may not have been a mix up and perhaps they need more reference populations.

I find the South asian and East Asian results to be a bit of a headscratcher as well as the Admixed American.

Here through Dodecadk12b Vahaduo I put in all the Japanese, Korean and many Chinese samples as well as over 70 native American samples. I also put in the source tab 11 south Asian samples such as Swat valley and Indus Valley 1-5.

The total sample list is 612

So from all of my sleuthing from running several tests with Vahaduo with different combinations. The small percentages I'm seeing come from 1%- 2%Levantine/Near Eastern. I haven't seen any matches with East Asia, South Asia, or the Americas

I would love some thoughts/opinions on my results. In addition, if any of you have taken a DNA test through CRIgenetics I'd like to see your results.

After thinking about my recent ancestry analysis on CRI, it kind of reminded me of my old results on Ancestry 10+ years ago. On Ancestry my ethnicity estimate then I think was 41% Great Britain, 25% Europe West, 8% Ireland, Scandinavia 12%, 6% Iberia, 6% Italy-Greece, <1% Caucasus, and <1% Finland. I'm thinking that CRI's algorithm can't distinguish German and English/British DNA very well. Which leads again to my guess they need to increase their reference populations.
