I think higher levels will unlock access to more sample matches. After resubmitting my raw dna from 23&me v4 and MyHeritage for months now my results have stayed the same. Later on I may purchase further upgrades to see if any new results appear. One thing I find interesting is that with other admix calculators, it shows some Mediterranean/Near East admix where MyTrueAncestry does not.

You know it's not when terms like Ostrogoth, Scythian, White Croat etc. are used. There are no White Croat samples. No one knows if they were a tribe or a tribal federation. No one knows if they were East or West Slavic and where exactly that mythical "White Croatia" was supposed to be. Since there's no substantial historical and archeological data on the White Croats, how can one expect the identification of genetic samples that can be attributed to them?

Sometimes the name of a company is enough to conclude that they're nothing more than genetic (un)fortunetellers with the prime scientific objective to prey on people's identity issues and inferiority complexes and take their money.

MyTrueAncestry isn't perfect, and I think that some of the samples are off on their assignment. As for myself it seems to track with what I get in G25:

It wasn't aimed at you personally. All DNA companies have one priority: profit. Some are still trying to keep a scientific appearance, whereas others feed their customers with highly sensationalist claims. The only useful data you can get from these companies are haplogroups.

with eurogenes finally swedish saami, norrbotten, svealand. udmurt as well but could be finnic overlap. showing my great great grandmother could perhaps indeed be nearly fully from norrbotten
