Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me locate the geographical origins of my subclade (I went through the Z8 SNP pack route on FTDNA) and have been place in R-CTS1747, which only 2 others have tested in, and not on FTDNA. My paternal family comes from around Bristol in the UK, but my family tree peters out around 1700. I do remember seeing posts describing Z346 as "Germanic" but this seems to cover Nordic, German, Frisian etc, is there any more specific geographical information?

At this point I think a broad geographical term is as accurate as it can be. Until we have more data.
