I've been identified as R1b S116*. Are there others in the forum with that designation? If so, can you give me some ideas to pursue further?

R1b S116 is the same as R-P312, so that would make you a R-P312*. P312/S116 is ancestral to L21 (Insular Celtic), U152 (Gallo-Roman), and DF27 (Iberian). Where are your paternal ancestors from?

The star means that you did not test positive for any subclades of P312 (at least, any subclades that they tested for). This most likely means that, at at a minimum, you are not L21, U152, or DF27.
