It seems that the majority of parents in Western countries are now in favor of banning social media for children and teenager under 16 years old. There are good arguments in favor of that. The problem has always been the implementation itself. The UK has just passed the ban on social media for kids last week and they are the perfect example of how not to legislate in this matter.
