Is it likely Mr.Berlusconi will actually go to prison I wonder, to serve this sentence ? I don`t see why he should not but given his position as Italys ex-Prime Minister and his age , who knows?

It should not matter at all to be an civil servant of such high rank when it comes to the law accountable. Although, I admit I do not know the guidelines of Italian laws regarding the prosecution of ex-government employees.
