Here is a new map showing the social security benefits of an average worker as a percentage of their previous earnings in the OECD. The beneficiaries in question are retired workers, disabled workers, and aged widows and widowers. This data does not include unemployment benefits.

The most generous countries are Denmark (80% replacement) and Luxembourg (75%), followed by Mediterranean countries and Austria. Lithuania is the worst, with only 19% of salary replacement, followed by Estonia, Ireland and Poland.
