Yes, the notion is (presently) problematic, but it seems that many of the genetic experts don't think it is off-the-wall. And the evidence is building, bit by bit.

Go on DNA-Forums and and read some of the discussions on Celticity and genetics.

I don't know what are you talking about. I have no hidden agenda about a "celtic ideology" or whatever. Spain is predominantly celtiberian, that's not an agenda, it's history, it's genetic. You can check out all the data Maciamo has added to this web.

It's not "our" genetic extrapolations, it's what scientists talk about :

"R-S116 shows maximum Y-STR diversity in France and Germany but maximum frequency in Iberia and the British Isles. In the latter region it is represented mainly by R-M529 with the R-M222 subclade being particularly prominent in Ireland but also North England. Those are not MINE genetic extrapolations. Again watch the maps made by Maciamo in this website. I haven't forced Maciamo to post none of those maps, btw.

Please Brady just entered the forum and its first and only two comments are on the Celtic Spain, and with some cynicism, it is clear that he is a nick of straw, also resident in Spain, your profile is concise and is limited as if the only reason for his entry was in support of the Great grizzly. :thinking:

I think that this is someone who has been here longer, but maintains a more polite and respectful and in this case, with a new nick seeks some fun getting a more crude, we should not give him that pleasure, "do not you think guys?
