The use of the fustanella among Ghegs was basically reserved for formal occasions; it was worn by groups in the Kelmendi, Hoti, Shala and Berisha village groups. On such important occasions such as declarations of allegiance, the settlement of disputes and the election of paramount representatives, elite males would adopt these long white garments and wear their tirq underneath

Wow! That's amazing, imagine what it must have been like long ago when the peoples there first started seafaring and were able to explore these mountains they'd seen from afar.

The Mount is named Mount of Çika, Mali i Çikës 2,044 metres above sea level. The peak is named Qorre Peak, Maja e Qorrës 2018 metres above sea level. But you have difficulty with the letter Q for this reason you call it Kjore. Qorre mean blind.

Yes, on clear summer nights without clouds and fog, from Karaburun Peninsula, we can see the lights of the other side of the Adriatic.
BTW, at the feet of the Montain Çika there is this beautiful place:



The name of this place is Rrugët e Bardha, Le strade Bianche, White Roads. The name was given by Caesar. When the the army of Caesar passed the Adriatic Sea pursuing the army of Pompey, they landed exactly in this place. When they saw in the moonlight the bed of this dry creek, they thought that it was a road. The toponym is still today preserved. After landing, they passed the Mount of Çika not from the Pass of Llogara but from another pass that still today is called by the natives, Qafa e Çezarit, The Caesar Pass. And this is the Pass, or the Neck of Caesar, because qafa in Albanian mean neck:

About the Letter Q, in Italian Q is always coupled with a U, so is always qu.

Yes is true. Fustanella was dressed by all Albanians, in South and North. There is for example as Russian consul who have reported that fustanella was used by Albanians even in Sandjak, today Serbia. But in North Albania fustanella was used by the rich elite and only in special events. Meanwhile in South was used everyday by all the men.

OMFG that is awesome! HAHA, wow... very cool. Bagpipes are very old European pastoral instruments, many people don’t know this. Thanks for sharing, thoroughly enjoyed that video.
