I am really liking this new and free app my brother put on my Roku. Right now, I am binge-watching Colombo. I find these older TV shows and movies are a lot more intelligent than a lot of contemporary productions.

Classic shows like Columbo have a charm and intelligence that's hard to beat. Enjoy your binge-watching on Roku!

I have the entire Columbo series on DVD. Watched it regularly on TV in the 90s, too. So many memorable episodes and one of the best detectives in television history. The later seasons were not so good but you can only keep the high standards for so long until you eventually run out of ideas. This being said, almost all the films and television productions I watch these days, and have been watching for a long time actually, are classics. But I don't use any apps or streaming services. I still buy DVDs and Blu-ray discs or get what I'm looking for online.

If you like old, intelligently written thrillers, try the original Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with Alec Guinness or the BBC miniseries Edge of Darkness. I hope they are available on Tubi.

I've been using Tubi for a while, and there's something special about those classic shows like Columbo. They have a unique charm and storytelling that you don't often see in newer stuff.
