I am an avid follower of EU Made Simple (EUMS) and watch all their videos. Recently Macron and Merz have proposed that Ukraine should have a new status called Associate EU Membership, which would allow partial and gradual integration into the EU. Other countries in the Balkans could also benefit from such a status. Personally I think it is a good idea because the process for full EU membership usually takes a very long time and is also subject to the veto of current member states. Lambertus of EUMS makes great arguments as usual.
